Painting my own nails is something I’ve been doing since I was 14. It wasn’t exactly in keeping with the school’s guidelines. The handbook specifically states to keep it short and natural, but I clearly wasn’t a model student. Although colorful lacquer was all the rage at the time, an intro to French tips got me hooked instantly.
Don’t get me wrong, my favorite enamel of choice is still plum, however, when I want clean posh-looking hands I always turn to the classic French mani. Getting those strips looking perfect and fresh can be quite the challenge. (Here's an easy DIY tutorial you can try!)
If you’re like me and you’re tired of hearing people tell you that the style is reserved for weddings, then these genius alternatives might just be for you. Personally, I can’t wait to try them out!
