One thing you should know about Arci Muñoz is that she doesn't shy away from ~experimenting~ with her hair colors. Since she was 15, the actress has been dyeing her locks in all sorts of hues. From violet, red, pink, green, to blue, "lahat nagawa ko na," she shared in her vlog.
Fun fact: The 33-year-old star has actually been DYI-ing her own hair at home. "Ako nagkukulay [ng] hair ko," she revealed. In her latest YouTube entry, Arci showed us how she lightened her hair without going to the salon, transforming her dark locks into golden blonde tresses. According to her, this will serve as her base color. "You gotta have your base color, which is 'yung lightest shade na pwede patungan ng kunwari pink or purple." To achieve that, Arci used LoveColor's Hair Lightening Cream in Vanilla Blonde, which only costs less than P100!

1. Dye your roots last.
This way, your roots won't end up looking lighter than the rest of your hair. ICYDK, the heat of your scalp helps process the color quickly.
2. Don't leave the hair dye on for too long.
Doing so will cook your strands, which can lead to dryness, brittleness, and even hair loss. Make sure to follow product instructions carefully!
3. Use a purple shampoo to cancel out the brassiness.
After lightening her tresses, Arci massaged a purple conditioner all over her locks to cancel out the yellow and orange tones in her hair.
4. Let your hair rest.
As you probably know by now, you'll need to lighten your hair multiple times to get to a certain level of blonde. "If you want to go a little bit lighter, I suggest you should do another application after 12 hours," she advised. "You need to let your hair and scalp rest."
According to Arci, she wants to achieve a platinum blonde 'do so she'll be dyeing her locks again soon, but this warm shade looks *stunning* on her, too:
