Bea Alonzo is undoubtedly one of the biggest stars today. Over the years, we've seen her try different hairstyles just as she took on various roles. From dyeing her hair blonde to getting a chin-grazing bob cut, the 34-year-old actress doesn't shy away from switching up her looks!
In this episode of Hair Diary—a ~series~ where we talk about hair makeovers and the stories behind them—we look back on Bea's unforgettable hairstyles through the years. P.S. Get ready to screenshot your fave looks for your next trip to the salon!
Bea Alonzo's Hair Transformations
2011: Side bangs
Raise your hands if you had side-swept bangs in the early '00s! As it turns out, Bea also had the classic fringe, pairing it with a face-framing layered cut. Fun fact: This was her first-ever post on IG!
2013: Brunette beauty
Just like most Pinays, Bea is a *big* fan of brown hair colors. In fact, she has dyed her hair in different shades of brown, from chestnut to caramel.

2017: Blonde era
After dyeing her locks brown, Bea decided to go for a ~lighter~ hair color. Remember when she had honey blonde hair? Bea had this stunning dye job for a long time, and we can't blame her. The warm color really brought out the *glow* of her complexion!
2017: Snip, snip!
To beat the summer heat, Bea ditched her long, flowy locks with a chic lob. This short haircut is quite versatile—it's not too short and it's not too long! It's no wonder it has become one of her signature hairstyles.
2018: Fringe moment
Bea looked almost unrecognizable when she chopped off her locks for her 2018 film First Love with leading man Aga Muhlach. Fun fact: It was her shortest haircut yet and it was her first time getting full bangs. As seen in her vlog, you can tell that she was really nervous at the salon. But in the end, she loved her bob cut—she even called it the "Bea Bob."
"Feeling ko it will help me create the character. The way you carry yourself sometimes varies on what hair you wear, right? So, this will help me be more fun and liberating," the actress said. In the said film, she played the role of Ali, a quirky Pinay working as a shop assistant in Canada who lives each day like it's her last.
2019: Straight and sleek
Months after her *controversial* breakup, Bea got another fresh chop. This time around, she went for a blunt cut, a one-length type of haircut with razor-sharp edges. She looked so chic and polished!
When styling a blunt bob, you can switch up the parting of your hair like what Bea did here:
2020: Sandy highlights
Back in 2020, Bea freshened up her black-brown locks with some blonde highlights. This subtle hair update made her complexion appear ~*sun-kissed*~, and we were all for it.
2022: Back to brown
Currently, Bea has dark brown tresses. It's a lot closer to her natural hair color, and we're guessing it has something to do with her new role. ICYDK, she's busy filming her first series with GMA-7, the Philippines' adaption of hit K-Drama Start-Up. In the series, she plays the role of Dani Sison (Seo Dal Mi), an ambitious and hardworking young entrepreneur.
TBH, we think Bea can pull off any hairstyle. ;) What's your favorite look so far? Let us know in the comments section!
