Maxene Magalona has always been known for being vocal on social media. After opening up about her mental health and "toxic" relationships on Instagram, the 36-year-old actress recently got candid about her late father Francis Magalona.
In honor of his would-be 59th birthday, Maxene has been posting several photos and videos of her favorite moments with her dad. "To celebrate what would have been Papa’s 59th birthday, here is a short snippet from my interview with him back in 1996 for 5&Up, an educational TV show for young adults," she wrote in one post.
Maxene's posts have been met with positive reactions from both fans and fellow stars, with celebrities like Angelica Panganiban, Mariel Padilla, and Melai Contiveros leaving sweet comments.

While most of the responses to Maxene's reels were heartfelt, there were also some netizens who left mean comments. In particular, there was one basher who caught Maxene's attention by criticizing her nose.
The basher wrote (sic), "Nagpa renovate pla ng ilong c Maxine ngaun kulang npancin." Not one to tolerate disrespect, Maxine reposted the remark on her Instagram story alongside her father's song Tayo'y Mga Pinoy, with the specific line "Wag kang mahihiya kung ang ang ilong mo ay pango" playing in the background.
She also encircled the basher's comment in pink and referred to it as one of her "favorite comments so far." Check out her clever response below!

Stay classy, Maxene!
