In today's important news: We finally know what Cosmo February 2024 cover star Jericho Rosales smells like (and used to smell like). The actor recently took to Instagram to share the important fragrances he had bought throughout the years, which usually mark important milestones, like receiving his first artista sweldo. If you've ever been curious about what Echo smells like—because we know we definitely are—keep on reading to learn more:
Jericho Rosales Shares His Go-To Perfumes
According to Jericho, the first fragrance he bought with his first artista sweldo was Fahrenheit by Dior. Described as a v masculine, spicy scent, its base notes contain leather, patchouli, and tonka bean—things you'd usually find in a men's fragrance. It's balanced out with top notes of bergamot, lemon, and mandarin orange and middle notes of florals and cedar, sandalwood, and nutmeg.
Longtime fans of Fahrenheit report smelling leather and gasoline when it's freshly applied and then it dries down to a nice floral scent. It's what a biker would smell like...probably. (And given that we know Echo is keen on motorcycles, we're not surprised he gravitated towards this scent!)
The second one Jericho shared was the first perfume he bought once he understood how to match fragrances with his personal body chemistry. ICYDK: Not every perfume is a match for everyone; what may smell good to you and last long on you might not be the same case for someone else and vice versa. This is why fragheads stress asking for samples or decants before committing to a big bottle—you have to check how they react to your body chemistry. (Not to mention, full sizes are v expensive, so you gotta make sure it's worth it!)
Jericho's first non-blind buy was Dune Pour Homme by Dior. It's described as a woody floral musk fragrance, a masculine scent that contains base notes of sandalwood, cedar, tonka bean, and vanilla. Its top notes are fig leaf, cassis, sage, and basil, while the middle notes are fig wood bark, rose, and mignonette. Compared to Fahrenheit, Dune is a more fresh-smelling, nature-inspired fragrance.

Jericho is evidently a Dior stan through and through because his most recent buy is Spice Blend. According to him, it's the scent he'll be trying out this holiday szn, when it's colder out—the perfect time to wear spicy fragrances. Out of all the perfumes Echo shared, Spice Blend is the newest as it came out in 2019. (Fahrenheit and Dune were released in the '80s and '90s, respectively). It's also marketed as a more unisex scent compared to the previous two.
Spice Blend is described as a spicy fragrance with middle notes containing pink pepper, cinnamon, black pepper, cloves, nutmeg, and coriander. Its top notes are rum and ginger, while the base notes are bay leaf and woodsy notes.

Like Jericho, we recommend using this scent—and other spicy and warm fragrances—during rainy months, as their stronger notes can be cloying or unbearable when it's hot out. Meanwhile, they smell just right and feel cozy when it's colder due to the spices and woodsy notes. The more you know!
BRB, buying one of Echo's perfumes for our boyfriends... (To our S.O.s, if you read this, no you didn't!)
