Island girl Kylie Verzosa recently went on a trip to Amanpulo looking gorgeous as usual! The beauty queen posted a series of pictures showing off her sultry swimsuit outfits and embracing her love for nature as a (literal) tree hugger. Radiant as she was, some netizens couldn't help but express concern for the actress, pointing out how "skinny" she appeared in the photos.
Netizens React to Kylie Verzosa’s Amanpulo Bikini Pics

In one of the images Kylie posted, the actress-slash-beauty-queen is seen wearing a white bikini, walking along the sand and arch of trees. She also shared a photo of herself in a little black monokini, lounging on a poolside chair. Additionally, there were cute photos of her in a knit dress while affectionately hugging trees.

Instead of focusing on the queen living her best life, some netizens made comments about her physical appearance. Many stated how they missed the "old Kylie" and even questioned if she was unwell.

Others came to her defense, urging people to stop commenting on her body.

Kylie Verzosa Addresses Comments About Her Being “Too Skinny” with an Inspiring Message
Rather than responding aggressively to the commenters, Kylie decided to address the comments graciously by sharing an inspiring message on another Instagram post.

“This 2024, I told myself that I would take even better care of myself and my body. I’ve come to accept that people will always criticize you about your body, [and] say you’re too much of this, too little of that, no matter how much you take care of yourself,” she began.
In case you didn't know, Kylie lives an active lifestyle. She trains regularly with celebrity fitness coach Arnold Aninion and carefully monitors her diet. “I'm obsessed with my health and live a very healthy lifestyle. I’ve cut out beef, chicken, pork, rice, alcohol, dairy, carbs, and sugar. I do cardio, pilates, run, box, weight lift, take my vitamins, sauna, and ice bath on a daily basis, but people will always have something to say,” she emphasized in her post.

And for those concerned about her mental health, the queen reassures us that she's keeping herself educated and well taken care of through Mental Health Matters PH, a non-government organization that Kylie herself established in 2017. “I keep myself educated and take care of my mental health @mentalhealthmattersph. I’m starting @sola_body too because I wanted to make everybody feel confident in their own skin,” she wrote. “Anyway, I’m so happy you’re here, hope you guys prioritize your health and well-being too this year,” she said, ending her message on a positive note.
Keep doing you, Kylie!
