You know those moments when your parents warn you not to do something because you'll regret it when you're older? Whether it's getting a tattoo or trying out a beauty enhancement, the regret can hit later. And for Kylie Verzosa, that moment has come.

Now in her 30s, the actress, model, and former beauty queen is getting real—no filter, no fluff. She revealed that her biggest beauty regret is microblading her eyebrows and getting them tattooed.

Why Kylie Verzosa Regrets Microblading Her Eyebrows

Kylie didn't hold back when she shared her experience on TikTok. She explained that her eyebrows had been microbladed for nine years—and although it served her well during her pageant days, it's now something she's in the process of removing.

Its just not giving

"Disclaimer, I'm not going to say it wasn't helpful before. Because it was helpful before, especially when I was joining Binibining Pilipinas," Kylie said.

Kylie revealed she is undergoing sessions to have the tattoo removed, and the process isn't exactly a breeze. "So I'm currently in the process of removing it. It's been like two months and I can't wait for the next session. It's not that pain-free!" she admitted.

In her TikTok video, Kylie even zoomed in to show followers the real state of her brows. Two main issues stood out as the reasons behind her regret:

1. The tattoo faded into a reddish tone.

One of the most obvious problems Kylie pointed out was how the pigment aged over time, turning into an unnatural red tone—a common side effect with older eyebrow tattoos.

"I'm just going to show you the situation now. And it's like, not the best. So this is what it looks like. It's not giving, guys. She's giving 'red tattoo,' like a tattoo on my face," she said, cringing over the results. And honestly, who would want their brows to look red and uneven in tone?

2. It limits what she can do with her looks.

Aside from the fading issue, Kylie also opened up about how her microbladed brows restricted her styling options and makeup looks over the years.

"It's not the best and it's very limited what you can do with your makeup. Maybe that's why I look the same all the time," she said.

How are microbladed brows removed?

There are various methods to remove microblading, including techniques like laser removal, which uses light to break down the pigment, and saline removal, where a saline solution is applied to draw the pigment out. Other options, like exfoliating or using specialized tools, also aim to lift the pigment from the skin. The choice of method depends on the pigment type, the area treated, and individual skin characteristics.

Cosmopolitan US also weighed in on one of the biggest downsides of microblading: beauty trends constantly change, but microbladed brows, much like a tattoo, stay the same. If your brow shape becomes outdated or no longer suits your face, there's little you can do—unless you opt for laser removal, which can be expensive, time-consuming, and yes, in Kylie's case, painful.

At the end of the day, it's all about what works for you. Whether you choose to try microblading or skip it, it's all personal preference. Kylie's sharing her experience not to scare you away but to offer some helpful tips—take them or leave them, it's your choice.

So what's the beauty trend you regret trying?
