Alex Gonzaga is joining the roster of celebrities who have their own makeup collection.
The actress-vlogger is partnering with beauty brand Issy & Co. Cosmetics, a local makeup line that is vegan, paraben-, cruelty-, and gluten-free.
Alex gave a teaser of the collaboration at a media launch held on December 11.
She said the collection is inspired by the essentials found in her personal kikay kit.
The ABS-CBN host told PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) and other members of the press, "[The] First time we met, they told me, 'Alex, ano yung talagang lagi mo ginagamit?'"
"Kasi sabi ko, ngayong nag-va-vlog ako, it's my first time to endorse a lipstick na talagang exclusive."
"So, sabi ko, gusto ko iyong i-endorse ko o yung magiging ambassadress ako is talagang ginagamit ko. Hindi ko ine-echos yung subscribers ko and yung mga sumu-support sa akin, mga nagfa-follow sa akin."
Much to Alex's surprise, the brand recreated her makeup essentials with vegan materials for the next collection set to be launched.
"Natutuwa ako. Cream blush, tapos siyempre, kilay is life ako."
"Yung shades na kinuha nila kasi, mostly yung mga products na nasa makeup bag ko... sa vanity kit ko, sa bag na I always bring every day, I bought them all from the States, from other countries. Mahirap siya kunin. Mahirap siya bilhin. They are a bit expensive."
"So, sinabi ko sa kanila, 'O, pero gawin pa rin natin paraben- saka cruelty-free...'"
"We'll be launching it real soon kasi ito talaga ang mga importante sa amin."
