If the name sounds familiar to you, it's because it probably is—the local beauty brand released the *original* Lip Syrup in early 2023 as part of their Birthday Collection.

This new iteration, however, features a tint—something that was noticeably missing from the OG release. Even though it came in six variants, they were sheer enough that they could pass as a clear lip gloss with different colored shimmers and glitters. This time around, though, we're glad that Chu Chu Beauty listened to our wishes and granted us tinted versions!

What is the Chu Chu Beauty Tinted Lip Syrup?
It's a tinted lip oil with a non-sticky, hydrating formula that delivers high shine sans the tackiness of traditional glosses. Thanks to its formulation of oils and Vitamin E, it also has the ability to soften and nourish your lips, and you can either use it on its own or as a lip topper for your favorite lippie.

This tinted lip oil is perfect for the girlies who are fans of the clean girl makeup look. Think brushed-up arches, baby winged liner, tinted cheeks, and ultra-glossy lips! It's also great for the ones who suffer from an eternally dry and peeling pout, as its mixture of oils can deeply hydrate your puckers.
What are the ingredients in the Chu Chu Beauty Tinted Lip Syrup?
It has three main active ingredients: Jojoba seed oil, meadowfoam seed oil, and Vitamin E. Jojoba seed oil forms a protective barrier over dry, chapped lips to lock in moisture, while meadowfoam seed oil is a popular emollient that helps keep your lips hydrated for longer. Lastly, Vitamin E—a popular ingredient in many lip products—has the ability to penetrate your skin deeply, preserve the lipids (a.k.a. fats) in your lips, and boost circulation.
What are the available shades of the Chu Chu Beauty Tinted Lip Syrup?
It's currently available in two shades: Pink Candy (bubblegum pink) and Peach Sorbet (juicy peach). Fingers crossed that they release more shades in the future!
