Why It's Important To Find The Best Brow Shape For You

For years, eyebrow trends have come and go: There's the skinny eyebrow from the '90s, the Cara Delevingne bold brow, the Bella Hadid brow lift, the feathery brow, and Korean straight kilay. Admit it or not, you've probably become obsessed with one or two of these eyebrow shapes. While there's nothing wrong with experimenting, you may be missing out on having the best kilay of your life because of your celeb-driven brow obsession.

That's what beauty YouTuber Snitchery pointed out in her latest video. She did different brow styles and showed the impact each made on her facial features. She wanted her viewers to understand that knowing the right brow shape that will work for your face is more important than following trends.

It's a trial-and-error process, so you really have to practice to find out what style will frame your face better and work with your natural kilay. To help you figure out what suits your facial features, Snitchery demonstrated the most popular eyebrow shapes:

Zendaya's full brows

1. She filled in the brow tail with little fake hairs to mimic Zendaya's strong brows. She wet a small angled brush and dipped it in brow powder.

   

   
   
   

2. To polish the shape, she applied a bit of concealer on the brow bone. Then, she made the inner eyebrow hairs a bit unruly by brushing them up with a clear gel.

Doja Cat's natural tapered eyebrows

1. She started by brushing an eyebrow gel at an angle to follow Doja Cat's tapered brow shape.

   

2. Then, she took a brow pencil to fill in the sparse areas.
