Hi, hello! For the past two years, I rarely wore a full face of makeup. After all, like everyone else, I was just stuck at home. But now that life is slowly returning to normal, I've been ~reuniting~ with my makeup products. One item that I've been reaching for a lot lately is my liquid blush. As someone who commutes going to work, mask-proofing my makeup is v v important. I love layering watery or even creamy blush formulas with powder blushes for a long-lasting flush. This is a makeup trick I learned from makeup artists and celebrities, and I swear, this technique is simple but it *really* works. If you need some blush recos, check out these celeb-approved picks below:
Celeb-Approved Liquid Blushes To Try
1. Jessy Mendiola
Jessy always looks so *fresh* in her selfies. Luckily, she revealed in a vlog how she does her own makeup! After using a primer and a cushion foundation, she applied a cream blush to her cheeks. "Mahilig ako gumamit ng hands ko kapag nagmamakeup ako," she shared. "Pero napansin ko, mas okay 'yung pag spread ng cheek tint kapag gumagamit ako ng brush."
In the video, she used Sunnies Face's Airblush in Moon, a toasty rose shade. It looked dark and intimidating on the pan, but once applied, it gave her cheeks a pretty, I-just-worked-out kind of flush.
"Hindi ko masyadong dadamihan kasi after ko mag lagay ng [cream blush], maglalagay pa ko ng blush on na powder type," she explained.

2. Elisse Joson
ICYDK, Elisse is a huge fan of no-makeup makeup looks. In one of her vlogs, the actress revealed that her current favorite blush is Rare Beauty's Soft Pinch Liquid Blush in Grace, a bright rosy mauve shade. According to Elisse, she likes applying it on the tops of her cheekbones for a "lifted" look!

3. Heart Evangelista
Glossier's Cloud Paint is certainly one of the most highly raved cream blushes out there—and it gained Heart Evangelista's seal of approval, too! In one of her makeup tutorials, she used a light cool pink shade called "Puff".
"I like looking very natural so I like doing the drunk blush," Heart shared while applying her blush to the bridge of her nose. Then, she layered her cream blush with a powder blush from Tom Ford. "It's okay to be a little bit generous because it will fade throughout the day," she said. "Don't be shy."

4. AC Bonifacio
Fun fact: Gen Z star AC Bonifacio likes to apply *a lot* of blush. "It gives color to my cheeks because I'm very pale," she explained. In her everyday makeup tutorial, she used Milk Makeup's Lip and Cheek Stick in a dusty rose shade called "Werk". It's certainly perfect for a "fresh lang" makeup look!

5. Bela Padilla
Just like us, Bela loves cheek tints. She typically goes for dark shades so the pigment lasts longer on her skin. This way, she uses less product, too! Genius, right? Right after applying her cheek tint, she usually sets it with a powder blush.

In the vlog, Bela used YSL's Kiss and Blush Tint in No. 5. Unfortunately, it's no longer available. But on a brighter note, the beauty brand has a creamy blush stick version of the tint called the Baby Doll Kiss and Blush Duo Stick. Check it out:
