(And no, we don't recommend continuing to use expired makeup because contrary to popular belief, makeup does expire!)

Where To Donate Old And Expired Makeup
If you're not sure what to do with all your old (and probably expired) makeup, you can actually donate them to mortuary schools to give them a second life. Student morticians can use them for practice as part of their mortuary cosmetology training for their licensure exam.
One mortuary school that's currently accepting donations is the Pacific Center for Advanced Studies (PCAS). As part of their Heaven Palette initiative, beauty lovers can donate their old makeup products to help aspiring embalmers ensure that all of our departed have a dignified and beautiful farewell.
What type of makeup products do they accept?
According to PCAS, they accept cream foundations, eyeshadows, blushes, pencil and gel eyeliners, loose powders, and all types of lip products. As a general rule, they mostly accept powdered products, but sturdy, cream-based makeup is also welcome.
You can also donate your unused or sanitized makeup brushes and sponges.
Do they accept expired makeup?
Yes, they accept expired makeup, as long as they're in good condition—a.k.a. there are no weird texture, smell, or visible changes in consistency. If they're in that state, it might be a better idea to just toss them.
