What are muted blushes?
This makeup staple had a moment over the past year or so, and it's not going away anytime soon! This 2024, blushes in muted shades (think: pale pinks, warm nudes, dusty mauves, soft peaches, etc.) have been dominating our social media feeds. At first glance, they may seem a bit "too light" for your complexion. But as many other TikTokers have said, they give the cheeks just a hint of color, resulting in a diffused, *airbrushed* look.
Why should I try a muted blush?
The right shade can brighten your complexion in a reallyyy subtle way. You may also use it to tone down a bright blush for a softer-looking flush. TBH, I wasn't a huge fan of pale blushes since I have a medium complexion like most Pinays. But after seeing the stars of Single's Inferno 3 and NewJeans members sport the prettiest barely-there blushes, I finally gave them a go and was not disappointed!
