In the world of beauty YouTubers/gurus/Instagrammers/bloggers, there are just soooo many that it's hard to think which of them is "the best"—they're all great, BTW, but if there were a hierarchy of beauty gurus, who do you think is on top?
Well, you don't have to wonder anymore because when Forbes (the magazine famed for its lists of billionaires and other rich people) branched out to social media fame this year, they created a list naming the top influencers in the beauty industry.
Want to know which beauty influencers made the cut? Here are the top five:
1. Zoella
No surprise here! Zoella has been in the YouTube beauty game for years, and even has her own beauty and lifestyle line.
2. Michelle Phan
Despite being absent for most of 2016 in the social media sphere, OG beauty blogger Michelle Phan still made the cut thanks to her popular beauty subscription service, Ipsy, and the fact that her videos have amassed MORE THAN a billion views.
3. Huda Kattan
If you're a *true* beauty addict, then you've most likely heard about Huda Kattan's popular makeup line of liquid lipsticks, lashes, and now, highlighters!
4. NikkieTutorials
From her iconic Power of Makeup video to her hilarious highlighter and glitter challenges, Nikkie is always capable of injecting a fresh approach to her videos—thus making them more ~watch-worthy~.
5. Shaaanxo
Shannon Harris (ICYDK, that's her real name) now has over six million subscribers and has partnered with beauty brands such as Clinique and Smashbox Cosmetics. She even has her own, xoBeauty, that sells false lashes and makeup brushes!
