Shanaia Gomez is certainly one of the fresh faces to watch out for. The former Pinoy Big Brother housemate has been appearing in TV series, such as He's Into Her, Batang Quiapo, and Click, Like, and Share, and Can't Buy Me Love.
When you scroll through her IG grid, one of the things you'll notice aside from her cool casual OOTDs is her ~*clear*~ complexion. It always leaves us wondering what skincare products she uses!
Fortunately, the Filipina-Italian beauty spilled her entire regimen during the Cosmo Beauty Playground 2023.
Since she usually wears heavy makeup for work, Shanaia swears by double cleansing. "I [wear] super makapal na makeup so I usually use a make-up remover and then I double cleanse with a facial wash naman," she revealed.
Then, she uses a toner from La Roche-Posay. According to her, it also helps "exfoliate" her "oily skin". While she didn't name the exact product, we're guessing it's the La Roche-Posay Effaclar, which contains micro-exfoliating lipo-hydroxy acid.

Like most of us, Shanaia deals with post-acne marks, which she treats using a "vitamin C color-correcting serum."
Since she has an oily complexion, the actress-singer also prefers using "gel" moisturizers.
"One [trick] that I really, really love—which my cousin recommended to me—[is using a] vitamin E capsule na gel," she gushed. "Pop it and then just apply it to your skin na may mga blemishes or scarring. It’s amazing kasi usually, when I wake up, I can really see a difference na kung saan ako nag lagay ng vitamin E, parang nag-lighten yung scarring."
On the makeup products she swears by
Aside from her skincare routine, Shanaia also shared with us her current makeup faves! One of her holy-grails is Maybelline's Superstay Vinyl Ink.
"It really stays on the whole day. Even [after] drinking and eating, hindi po nawawala ‘yung kulay," she pointed out. "One of my favorite shades is Charmed."

When it comes to lip gloss, her go-to is Strokes' Silk Kiss Lip Gloss: "Sobrang ganda. It makes my lips look like Kylie Jenner's. Every time I wear it, my lips would look so beautiful."

"For blush naman, meron akong Milk [Makeup] na cream blush. I think yung shade is Werk? It's the perfect shade [for me], and it stays on the whole day also," she said.

Shanaia loves filling in her brows using Strokes' Microblade Pen Perfector. She added, "it also works as an eyeliner na hindi sobrang strong."

On dealing with insecurities
Like everyone else, Shanaia also has her fair share of insecurities, such as her "under-eyes". She explained, "It's very dark and papasok so I often compare it [to a] raccoon's eyes."
However, she realized, "My mom has the same thing. It’s kind of like a hereditary thing. So nung na-realize ko na, wait yung mom ko, ganoon din yung mata niya, parang doon ko na-realize it’s beautiful. I would never call my mom ugly. So parang, okay, it’s beautiful and I got it from her." She added, "Embrace [what you've got]."
