I was lucky to travel in South Korea in July 2023, and I got my hands on the Beauty of Joseon Matte Sun Stick during one of my Olive Young visits. I've been using it for months now, and I believe it deserves a love letter. Read on to see why I'm loving it.

What's to love with the Beauty Of Joseon Matte Sun Stick: Mugwort+Camelia (SPF 50+ PA++++)?
The genius formula was developed by Beauty of Joseon team with influencer and cosmetic chemist, Ramón @glowbyramon. They've created this sunscreen stick that will make reapplication easy. It has a sebum-control silica powder to regulate oil production, lending a matte silky finish on the skin. Plus, it has SPF50+ PA++++ which promises proper UVA and UVB protection.
How I used the Beauty Of Joseon Matte Sun Stick
After using a Vitamin C serum and hyaluronic acid serum, I applied a few layers of the BOJ Sun Stick to my skin. I loved the velvety matte finish on my complexion, and it blurred my large pores. I didn't even dare to use cushion or powder.
I always have this in my bag because sunscreen sticks are great for reapplication, and dermatologists advise to refresh your SPF shield every two hours. A bit of makeup stuck to the sides of the product packaging which kind of worried me. Other sun sticks formulas don't do this, or maybe I'm doing it wrong?
The Beauty Of Joseon Matte Sun Stick makes sunscreen application so easy that you wouldn't have an excuse to skip it! Unlike most sunscreens that leave a greasy or sticky film, this doesn't. Sometimes, you would even want to leave out foundation or skin tint. It's no wonder almost everyone on the internet is crazy about it. I'm so happy I bought a backup. I'll finish this fast, and I'm sure of that.
Will I buy a replacement when I finish my two sun sticks? I would, but I'm also open to trying other locally available sunscreen sticks. Beauty of Joseon has an official Lazada store, but so KbeautyCafe and Seek Space are also reliable resellers for authentic Korean beauty products.
