Over the years, more and more celebrities are becoming open about going under the knife. Just recently, Dani Barretto, Max Collins, and Alodia Gosiengfiao *proudly* shared their experiences of getting liposuction in Belo Medical Group's latest Instagram post. ICYDK, liposuction is a type of surgery that uses suction to remove fat in certain parts of the body, including the stomach, waist, cheeks, chin, hips, thighs, upper arms, and more. According to the Cleveland Clinic, "liposuction helps get rid of fat deposits that don't respond to diet and exercise." That being said, it isn't a weight-loss procedure.
"As much as I would work out, I never really saw my saw arms getting defined," Max shared after getting an arm liposuction. "But now because there's less fat covering my arms, you can see the definition and what I worked hard for."

Fellow mom Dani, on the other hand, revealed that she got a chin liposuction. For the past few years, the content creator-entrepreneur has been working hard on her fitness journey. "When I gave birth, I just focused on being a mom. I never realized that I forgot myself in the process," she recounted.
Dani admitted that unsolicited comments about her post-pregnancy body took a toll on her self-esteem: "I didn't wanna see anybody because the first thing they would say is 'Tumaba ka. Iba 'yung itsura mo,'" Moving past that, the mom of one made a conscious effort to focus on herself rather than worrying about what other people think.

According to Alodia, who got a body liposuction, the downtime wasn't so bad. In fact, the cosplayer said, "The next day, I was already streaming. Ganon ka-bilis."

Similarly, Max shared: "I didn't feel any pain... After a week, I was already at the beach."
The Belo Medical Group described the 360-degree Liposuction as a "step up from your regular lipo procedure in that it is done in a circumferential manner, where adjacent areas surrounding the problem area are also targeted, for a more even look." While most people think that liposuction causes a lot of bleeding and swelling, that isn't always the case. The medical-aesthetic clinic uses "a thin cannula to suction out fat, making the procedure less bloody."
Right after the procedure, the celebs underwent BodyTiteRF, which "produces heat that helps stimulate the contraction of the overlying skin, creating a tightening effect."
In case you're wondering, the whole surgery is done under local anesthesia with "twilight sedation." They explained, "[It's] very safe compared to general anesthesia. Aftercare is also generally easier than the lipo you know off—bruising is significantly less, and downtime is not as long."
You do you, ladies!
