1. It wasn't painful.
On a scale of one to ten, I would rate the pain at only three (Full disclosure: I have *low-pain* tolerance). The sensation was like a quick, stinging flick, similar to rubber bands snapping against the skin. The good news is, the technician can also fine-tune the settings to suit your sensitivity.
2. The entire session only takes about 10 minutes.
Right after the treatment, the aesthetician applied a ~soothing~ cream to my underarms. I didn't experience any downtime and went about my day like usual.
