As you know, perfumes have a way of triggering ~*memories*~. But did you know that actors use scents to get into character, too?
Fun fact: Actress Sue Ramirez prepares for a role by thinking about every little detail of her character, including their scent. For her teleserye The Broken Marriage Vow, where she played the role of mistress Lexy Lucero, Sue used two perfumes to channel her inner kontrabida.

"While reading the script, I am making a backstory, building a character by creating details like her favorite color, birthday, and star sign. I think about what music she listens to and even what she smells [like]," Cosmopolitan Philippines' April 2023 cover girl revealed.
"The character was very far from who I was. I always give a part of myself to the characters I portray, but Lexy was different," she shared. "I learned more from her. She has taught me more than I have influenced the character. It was not about being the other woman, but way beyond that—how unapologetically idealistic she was and how the world was within her reach. She was always calm and collected, and was never vengeful."
In case you're curious, Sue revealed the *exact* scents that helped her fully embody Lexy: "I used Byredo's La Tulipe and Givenchy's Tartine et Chocolat."
Byredo's La Tulipe is a delicate and fresh scent. With notes of rhubarb, cyclamen, and vetiver, this perfume is both floral and earthy, which perfectly matched her character's *calm* demeanor.

Givenchy's Tartine & Chocolat Ptisenbon Eau de Toilette, on the other hand, is a floral and fruity scent. It opens with top notes of lemon, orange, and galbanum that give it a fresh and invigorating quality. Its heart notes of honeysuckle, jasmine, and lily of the valley add a feminine touch to the fragrance, while its base notes of musk, oakmoss, Brazilian rosewood, and amber give it a warm and ~sensual~ finish.
