Bench Fashion Week 2024 may have just wrapped up, but we are definitely still *not* over all the major moments from the show. LOOK: Sunshine Cruz Graces Bench Fashion Week S/S 2024 Runway
Sunshine Cruz was one of the celebrities who walked down the famed runway and looked absolutely amazing doing so! Clad in a black bikini with a sheer cover-up and black and silver accessories, the 46-year-old actress' toned abs and body were on full display that day.

Sunshine Cruz's Empowering Instagram Post After BFW S/S 2024
To cap off her BFW experience, Sunshine took to Instagram to post a video of her runway walk with the most empowering statement on self-love and body positivity.
"Huge thanks for this video edit, @benchtm," she wrote.
Sunshine gave a shoutout to fellow mom and actress Ina Raymundo, who also walked down the Bench runway. She also talked about how proud she was to have the chance to inspire other women—especially moms—to embrace self-love with open arms.
"Once again, I’m thankful for the chance to represent moms/Gen Xers like myself, alongside hot mom Ina Raymundo. It’s truly fulfilling to have the opportunity to inspire other women and moms like me to embrace self-love."
She ended her caption by inspiring others to celebrate their bodies regardless of their appearance.
"Regardless of our weight, skin color, height, or shape, let’s all celebrate our bodies and take pride in who we are," she concluded.
Sunshine Cruz's Clapbacks Against Age-Shaming and Body Shamers
Sunshine has always taken a stance against ageist comments and body shamers—she's not afraid to *clap back* at netizens who leave out-of-line remarks on her social media pages.
When a netizen once called her a "lola" and "tigulang," Sunshine didn't let the comment get to her. "Let's not make it seem na ang pagtanda ay dapat ikalungkot at ikahiya," she replied.

Another netizen said that she was "too old" to be wearing swimsuits, to which Sunshine responded in a separate post that there shouldn't be an age limit to wearing whatever makes us feel happy and comfortable.

"Wearing clothes that make us feel pretty, confident, and happy is never a sin. Sa mga kababaihan at kalalakihan who still believe na may category ayon sa edad ang pananamit, pasensya na po, I will not let any of you control or change the way I am," she wrote. Well-said, Sunshine!
