Starship Entertainment is sharing new updates regarding MONSTA X members' contracts.

On May 9, a representative from the agency revealed that three of the six members have decided to renew their contracts: "We have completed the renewal of contracts with Shownu, Kihyun, and Hyungwon among the Monsta X members."

According to Starship, the other three members, Minhyuk, Joohoney, and I.M, are discussing their contract renewal positively.

"We are discussing in depth so that it can be the best direction for both the group and the members."

The representative added, "The love for MONSTA X remains the same for both the company and the six members, so we will be able to deliver the official position as soon as the contract renewal is settled."

MONSTA X debuted as a seven-member group in 2015 with the album Trespass. Since then, the K-pop boy group has produced hits like "Dramarama", "Jealousy", and "Shoot Out", to name a few.
