ABS-CBN will temporarily stop the production of their current live shows and teleseryes starting March 15, 2020, in compliance with the "community quarantine" in Metro Manila.
In a statement, the television network said that they will be "bringing back well-loved shows to help provide inspiration, hope, and upliftment."
As announced by President Rodrigo Duterte during a press briefing on March 12, the community quarantine will be held from March 15 to April 14, 2020. People are urged to stay home and practice social distancing.
ABS-CBN said, "the company is taking this initiative for the safety and health of our artists, crew, production teams, their families, and the general public."
Since March 10, the television network also stopped admitting live studio audiences for their shows such as It's Showtime! to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
