Aga Muhlach's children, Atasha and Andres, may be born in a showbiz family, but the 54-year-old seasoned actor revealed that he's *not* actually a stage dad.
Atasha and Andres have been in the spotlight since they were kids, though they chose to live quietly in recent years as they continued on with their education. Atasha, however, opted to join showbiz right after graduating from Nottingham Trent University in July 2023.
"Si Atasha is doing good," Aga revealed in his recent PEP Live interview. "She's happy. She wants to do movies. She wants to do a lot of things."
"Right now, she's with Eat Bulaga! Maraming salamat sa pagtanggap sa kanya."

Despite Atasha garnering praise for her role as one of the co-hosts of the show, Aga clarified that he doesn't meddle in her career.
"Hindi ako nakikialam. Sabi ko, 'Basta pumasok kayo sa industriya, magtrabaho kayo, hindi ako makikialam sa inyo, because you have your own path.
"Hayaan niyong ang publiko at ang producers niyo ang dumiskarte. I'm out of that."
"But I'm always proud of my kids," he concluded.
Andres, on the other hand, has yet to ~*officially*~ dip his toes in showbiz. Despite some pressure from the public to follow in his dad's footsteps, Aga remains staunch in his stance to support his kids no matter what they choose to do.
"I think Andres wants [to]. Niloloko ko siya, 'Andres, hinihintay ka na. Anong gagawin mo?'" Aga joked. "He's shy."
He added: "Let's see. There might be an announcement soon."
It was recently announced the entire Muhlach family—Aga, Charlene, Atasha, and Andres—signed a contract with TV5.
Aga Muhlach's Showbiz Advice For Atasha and Andres
But despite not meddling with his kids' careers, Aga still shares *valuable* showbiz advice with them, having been in the industry for nearly five decades. "Sabi ko, asahan niyo na yun, at some point you'll experience a lot of failures here, so don't give up. That's normal,'" he noted.
"Walang perfect na artista. Walang perfect, na bawat pelikula mo ganun."
He also underlined the importance of working hard for their chance in the limelight.
"'Lahat ng mga sikat, kahit the young generation,' sabi ko, 'ten years na nag-aartista iyan bago sumikat.'"
"Kaya sabi ko, 'You make your name, you continue to do good work, and it will come.'"
"So that's the biggest advice I've given them, and I think nasa puso na nila yun," he concluded.
