April 17 marked the sixth death anniversary of young actor AJ Perez. In 2011, AJ passed away in a tragic vehicular accident on the way back to Manila from an event in Dagupan. He was only 18 years old then.
The Kapamilya actor's then-girlfriend Steph Ayson paid tribute to her late boyfriend on Twitter by posting photos of him and his famous smile:
"Six years ago today. Praying even more that that smile is still as bright as you watch us," she wrote.

AJ's younger brother Angello Perez also posted a throwback IG picture of them as a tribute to his kuya, saying: "6 years since you left, but there was never a day I don't think about you."
