The 31-year-old actor surprised the Internet with a very candid announcement about his newborn son. In fact, he revealed that it was the ~first time~ that he got to meet his son, Roman Andrew. This is because Albie has been booked and busy lately in terms of his career. ICYDK, he just finished filming for the teleserye Can't Buy Me Love.
Now that most of his work commitments have been completed, Albie seems to be taking a break with his son and his non-showbiz partner in Massachusetts, USA, as geo-tagged in one of his IG posts.
In the video he uploaded, Albie was seen welcoming his baby with so much joy and excitement. He almost even jumped as soon as he laid eyes on his little family. Speculations about Albie's son first broke the internet when showbiz insider Ogie Diaz reported about it in one of his vlogs. News sites picked up Ogie's report—and although he did not initially reveal that it was Albie, he mentioned that it was a "young actor" from Can't Buy Me Love—which later on his co-hosts said was Albie.

In his vlog, Ogie mentioned that the young actor went to the United States to personally be with his family and see his son for the first time. "Tumulak na papuntang US ang young actor para makita, mahawakan, at makarga ang kanyang unang anak. Ang kanyang baby boy kasi, ang kanyang jowa na isang foreigner ay nanganak noong April 30... After ng kanyang palabas, tumulak na siyang US para maramdaman niya ang pagiging tatay niya. First time niyang makikita ang kanyang anak," Ogie detailed.
Now, it's clear that Albie will be celebrating Father's Day this year with much pride and happiness. Congratulations, Albie!
