Alex Gonzaga and Mikee Morada had a memorable Halloween this year, and it's not because of a grand, spooky costume—but because they chose to do a get-up closest to their hearts as a married couple.

The couple gained heartfelt reactions for dressing up as Carl and Ellie from the animated movie, "Up." Carl and Ellie's story was about a young couple who had a difficult time conceiving a child together. The animated characters were once expecting a baby however, Ellie experienced a miscarriage. They both hoped for a child to complete their family even though the chances were slim.

In her post, Alex wrote, "Carl and Ellie forever! If you know their love story you’ll know why this year I chose them." Her caption indicated that they relate to Carl and Ellie's story.

"Kasi, as a wife, feeling mo, nag-fail ka sa husband mo kasi gustong-gusto na ni Mikee, pero siyempre wala namang magagawa 'dun," Alex said. But Mikee assured her that she is not a failure and that everything they went through is just part of the process.

Just a month ago, Alex shared about receiving some news related to their journey as a couple. Although there are no definite details revealed, Alex expressed her belief and hopes that one day they will both have an answered prayer.

"Painful and yet joyful. Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you. He will never let the righteous be shaken. And He did! Today we received a news how God wanted it to be. Thank you Lord Jesus. Praying one day by God’s grace we will be able to tell a beautiful testimony on How God answered our prayer. Thank you for the grace that gives us peace and acceptance. It may be painful today but we are joyful that God’s will prevailed. In His own time," she wrote.
