Whether you are in the mood to watch a good style showdown or you secretly have dreams of becoming a professional designer (it's not too late to chase after that goal!), there's a new fashion competition in town that's right up your alley: Netflix's Next In Fashion—hosted by Queer Eye's Tan France and fashion designer Alexa Chung—starts streaming on January 29.
The 10-episode reality show will feature 18 designers from all over the globe who will be put through a string of challenges that will test their skills, creativity, and determination to succeed. Aside from competing for style supremacy, they'll also battle it out to win the grand prize: $250,000 (P12.7 million) and the chance to debut their collection with luxury retailer Net-a-Porter.
You'll see some judges from the world of high fashion like designers
Monique Lhuillier, Tommy Hilfiger, Prabal Gurung, Dao-Yi Chow, Maxwell Osborne, Phillip Lim, Kerby Jean-Raymond, and Christopher Kane.
Key people in fashion like editors Eva Chen and Elizabeth Stewart, singer-songwriter Beth Ditto, stylist Jason Bolden, model Adriana Lima, design director Josefine Aberg, and Net-a-Porter buying director Elizabeth von der Goltz will also appear on the show to assess the work of the competing designers.
Next In Fashion streams on January 29 on Netflix.
