From "Where was I?" to certified Instagram mutuals. This is how Alexa Ilacad and Mika Dela Cruz's rumored rekindled connection surfaces on the Internet today.
Eagle-eyed netizens were quick to notice that the two former stars of the children's gag show Goin' Bulilit are now following each other on Instagram. Although it's not clear when they followed each other, fans are rejoicing about the recent development.
ICYMI, Mika just got married to Nash Aguas—and as everyone knows, there's so much history between Alexa, Mika, and Nash.

Alexa and Mika's shared history goes beyond their Goin' Bulilit days.
The "controversy" started when Nash declared his love for Mika since they were kids. His online message for Mika read, "13 years and I still love you."
As Alexa first divulged to PEP.ph in 2019, she was taken aback by how Nash revealed that he's been in love with Mika for 13 years. Nash, Mika, and Alexa all starred in Goin' Bulilit.
According to Alexa, she and Nash had a fling, or what others would call mutual understanding. They were exclusively dating back then until they broke up in 2018.
So Alexa's words to PEP.ph went: "Sa loob ng 13 years na 'yon, parang naano lang ako na...Okay lang, ayoko nang ma-hurt, kasi it's not my place anymore. But I will be lying if I'll say, hindi ako napaisip. Parang, may karapatan ba along magalit? Kasi, ang weird, e, nandoon ako."
In a separate interview, Alexa also poured her emotions about the situation. She told Boy Abunda in a tell-all interview in 2019, that she knew Mika and Nash always had a special connection. This was when she dropped an unforgettable quote about her reaction to Mika and Nash's special friendship.
"I knew in my heart na they never really lost connection, that there is a special place in Nash's heart for Mika which I always knew. And it was okay. It was fine with me kasi [in] Goin' Bulilit they were together, puppy love, they were the first ones [to get together]," she expressed.
Then came her iconic, viral statement: "Kasi inside the 13 years, I was there. So when you say na '13 years and I still love you,' where was I? Maybe [in] that hour I cared. But I said to myself, 'Mmm, [it's] not worth your time. Move on.'"
At present, Alexa is currently in a steady relationship with love team partner KD Estrada. But take note that they're not official just yet. They describe their relationship as "Nagliligawan with a goal... with a long-term goal." They revealed in an interview with Bernadette Sembrano in August 2023.
"What else would you call two people going out, trying to make something? Obviously, I don't think we're wasting anyone's time," Alexa candidly stated in the mentioned interview above.
