It's 2024 already and women should not be pressured to bear a child. That's a sentiment that even the actress Alexa Ilacad echoes to this day.

Speaking to Inquirer.net, the 24-year-old actress stated that there's nothing wrong if women decide not to have their own children. For her, people should be given the freedom to live the lives they want to pursue. "I get it! I totally get it! And that's okay!" she first said when asked about her thoughts on women not wanting to have babies in their lives.

Alexa furthered. "I think now, we're more open to living our lives the way we want to live without fear of judgment from other people." She pointed out that society should not affect the decisions women should make for themselves.

"You don't have to pressure yourself to do a certain thing because it's what society wants from you. It's you who will suffer in the end," Alexa told the media during the press conference of the latest film, Mujigae.
