Based on recent Instagram pics and an interview, it looks like Diego Loyzaga and Alexis Suapengco's relationship has improved. What's clear, though, is that Alexis thinks highly of Diego as a father.
During the premiere night of the movie Fruitcake, Diego and Alexis were spotted together. They attended the event to support their friends, who are part of the diverse cast of the aforementioned film.
During the event, some members of the press got the chance to talk to Diego and Alexis. PEP.ph uploaded a clip of their short interview with the two, in which they asked about Diego's fatherhood journey. The actor happily shared details about their daughter Hailey Paige's antics, and how it has been very enjoyable for him to see her grow up.
"As she grows older, she changes. Lately, every time she wakes up, she's a bit grumpy with us, so it's always different," Diego revealed. He and Alexis even pointed fingers at each other when questioned who grumpy Hailey takes after!
Additionally, Alexis was asked if she could actually *rate* Diego as a father. She directly informed the press, "Now, he's a 10," triggering laughs from the media, and of course from Diego himself!
Just recently, the two celebrated Hailey's first birthday together. They even posted lots of pics on Instagram, showing their amicable relationship in regards to raising their daughter.

What happened between Diego Loyzaga and Alexis Suapengco?
Earlier this year, on January 8, 2024, Alexis uploaded an explosive series of Instagram stories accusing Diego of kicking her and their daughter Hailey out of his house for another woman. "SO MY BABY DADDY @diegoloyzaga decided to kick me out and his baby out of his house so this girl can come over," Alexis posted.

In succeeding now-deleted IG stories, Alexis described Diego as a liar and someone who was "never sober."
In another deleted IG story, Alexis claimed that Diego had threatened her that he would refuse to provide for their child if she didn't take down her earlier posts. "@diegoloyzaga said if I don't take down the post, he won't provide for my daughter daw. ok boy bye," she wrote.
At the same time, Diego posted what seemed to be a cryptic message about their situation. He shared an IG story that said, "trouble in paradise," and included a tired emoji.
It was in June 2023 when Diego opened up about becoming a father to a beautiful daughter. At the time, he did not reveal any details about the mother of his daughter, except that she was a non-showbiz personality. Alexis herself revealed her identity through the IG stories mentioned above.
