Trouble is definitely brewing in paradise. Andi Eigenmann and Philmar Alipayo have heated the month of love with—unfortunately—their relationship woes. Amid a series of Instagram Stories alluding to their situation, Andi posted some clarification about her earlier statements.
On February 8, 2025 (just in time for lunch), Andi spoke about her reason for posting Instagram Stories referring to cheating and a certain person allegedly getting a "couple tattoo" with her life partner, Philmar.
In her recent IG Stories, Andi wrote, "My why for posting: I am fully aware that my husband never cheated on me with this girl... I am always around when they are together. I posted because this person betrayed me, and encouraged my husband to break up with me during every fight even when I also told my side of the story to her. She didn't honor my side by choosing to celebrate her and my husband's love for each other because the day after our fight she inserted herself into the situation by encouraging him to go for a spontaneous love couple tattoo together."
Andi underscored that she had reached out to the other woman involved in the story, but got no response whatsoever—which is why she expressed her thoughts on social media. Further explaining her feelings towards Philmar, whom she calls her husband at this point, Andi admitted feeling hurt after learning that Philmar agreed to the "couple tattoo," But despite that, Andi cleared up that her posts did not mean to antagonize her husband.
"Post was just to show that no normal person with good intentions would think it's OK for a 'friend' to encourage someone else's husband to do this without considering the partner's feelings," a part of her IG Story read.
In the next IG Stories, Andi also expressed her regrets for not acting fast on the situation, highlighting that she should've done things differently. "I should've called it out the first time me and my husband found it weird that she just got a huge tattoo on her shin dedicated to him! He is someone else's husband!" Andi said, adding that her friends have also warned her about the woman.

Late Friday night on February 7, the Internet stayed up late checking on what was really up between Andi and Philmar. ICYDK, the two were known to have had a tight relationship since 2018 as they built their "happy island life" in Siargao together with their kids. The Internet turned their attention to the couple after noticing that Andi and Philmar were actually not following each other on Instagram.
On the same day, Andi herself posted a cryptic post on her Instagram. She wrote on her Instagram Story: "I just found out it's the year of the snake!! I thought it was the year of the wolf in sheep's clothing!"
By midnight of February 8, Philmar broke his silence with a series of Instagram Stories as well. (Yup, it's all about Instagram statements now...) His first IG Story read, "Kon ono may galing ijo mga nabasahan koman tinood jaon. Waya nay tagoay kay mas maliso" which PEP.ph translated to: "Kung ano man nababasa niyo ngayon, totoo 'yon/'yan. 'Wag na nating itago kasi mas mahirap [or “hihirap lang”]"
"Kilaya man kamo kun ono ako na pagka tawo. So segoro kilaya sab kamo kon ono cja. Dili na nato taason an tanan," which means "Kilala niyo ako kung anong klaseng tao ako, So siguro kilala niyo rin kung ano siya [o anong klase siya]. Wag na natin pahabain pa ang lahat," in Tagalog.
In what seemed to be his closing statement on the issue, Philmar declared, "You can call me a cheater and ugly now. Pero salamat sa mga tao na nag message at tunay na nakakakilala sa akin."
Meanwhile, as Philmar was making these statements online, Andi also uploaded her share of cryptic posts. One of which read, "They stab you and pretend they are the ones bleeding." Another one stated, "Took it personally because I never would've done it to you." It came with an explanation and realization that acknowledging the red flags and setting boundaries does not make a relationship toxic.
She also uploaded a screenshot of a conversation with an AI app asking about their situation. She asked in the AI prompt, "Do you think it's sus when a friend invites your life partner to get a love's couple's tattoo with them without even filling you in or consulting you?" And yep, the AI responded that it was definitely suspicious
Andi and Philmar got engaged in 2020. However in 2024, following the sudden passing of Andi's mother, Jaclyn Jose, the two decided to postpone their wedding.
