Amid countless tirades against Andrea Brillantes, her mother Belle Brillantes is not backing down for her daughter.
In a now-deleted exchange of Instagram comments, Belle slammed a netizen for leaving a rude comment about Andrea, also known by her real name Blythe. The netizen's comment read, "paano mo kaya pinalaki si andrea no?" insinuating that there was something wrong with the celebrity's upbringing.
Belle bravely responded with, "paano? Napagtapos niya sa school mga kapatid niya, nakapagpagawa ng bahay, may sariling negosyo, ikaw anong ambag mo sa mundo?"
On Instagram, Blythe's mother, who is also a professional free diver, expressed her sentiments over the controversies surrounding her daughter. "This negativity will not break my spirit. I am thankful for being alive, my kids, and my mom being healthy," she wrote in her caption.
Andrea has been embroiled in a cheating scandal with fellow Star Magic artists, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo. The 20-year-old actress was linked to Daniel after unconfirmed reports of their secret meet-ups came to light this year.
Kath and Daniel, who have been in a relationship for 11 years, publicly announced their breakup on November 30, 2023. In a heartfelt letter posted on Instagram, Kath asked fans to understand and to continue supporting both of them despite the separation.
"The last thing we want is for this family to break apart with everyone taking sides—please don't. Deej and I will continue to support each other as we try to heal and move forward from this.
