Angel Locsin and Vice Ganda's friendship goes beyond what the camera sees. Off-cam, the two keep a close bond, and Angel's recent gift for Vice proves it. The TV host-comedienne revealed that Angel and her husband, Niel Arce, actually gave her a new fur baby.
In a vlog uploaded last October 9, 2024, Vice told the short but sweet story of how Angel and Neil gave her a new pet dog. (Btw, in the vlog, Vice was unboxing her Labubu and Zimomo haul, which is one of the trendy anik-anik collections most people are obsessing about these days.)
As Vice was showing her new large Zimomo monster doll, she remembered her new fur baby, saying that the doll almost had the same fur as her new puppy. There, she revealed that the couple gave it to her after knowing that her other fur baby, Chip In, passed away.
"Meron akong bagong dog, giant poodle siya. Regalo siya, bigay siya sa akin nina Neil at ni Angel Locsin...Kasi when Chip In passed on, sobra akong lungkot," Vice said. ICYDK, Chip In was also a gift to Vice from her friends—among those friends was Angel.

"Kaya nung nalaman niyang wala na si Chip In, at alam niyang malungkot na malungkot ako…kapapanganak pa lang nung aso niya, so yung isa binigay niya sa akin," Vice revealed. She added that the dog still has no name yet.
Vice also showed the poodle in the vlog while asking the fur baby if it's okay to name her "Zimomo" hailing from the doll's name.

Vice Ganda's love for her fur babies
It was only two months ago when Chip In passed away. Vice shared the sad news on her social media, expressing her heartache for her pet's demise. In an August 22 Instagram post, Vice wrote, "I didnt know that losing a fur baby would hurt this much. I realized you were not just a dog. You were my baby. My family. My true friend. You gave me so much love. And I loved you with all my heart. I thank God for you." Chip In was Vice's first fur baby and they were together for six years.
She added in her heartfelt letter for Chip In, "You made me look forward to coming home from a very exhausting day. You stayed beside me when I was lonely.[...] But today I guess it's really time to say goodbye and let you run and play in heaven."
