Life doesn't have to end when the marriage of two people comes to a close. In some cases, their respective families can even become friends and grow together again! Case in point: Sunshine Cruz and Cesar Montano. ICYDK, the two were in a turbulent marriage that eventually ended in an annulment filed in 2013 and finalized five years later.
In the years that passed, Sunshine and Cesar have gotten new partners and eventually reconciled their relationship, and their children could not be happier, especially Angelina Cruz.
In an interview with ABS-CBN for one of Angelina and Sunshine's endorsements, the 22-year-old actress was all smiles talking about her parents' friendship and their blended family.
"Honestly, it makes me very happy. And it really warms my heart knowing there's no bad blood... it's all just good vibes. I'm glad that we're like this and that it's just full of love," she shared.
In the same interview, Angelina shared that she just got home from Bali with her sisters and her dad to celebrate Chesca Montano's 18th birthday. "We just got home from Bali, and dad and his partner, Tita Kath [Angeles] were there and we had a lot of fun. I feel like that trip really made all of us closer as a family," she divulged.
