Uh-oh, it looks like things are getting even *messier* for Richard Gutierrez and Sarah Lahbati amid rumors of their alleged split.
On December 8, Friday, Richard's mom, Annabelle Rama, took to IG to share a ~lengthy~ message to netizens to stop blaming her for the couple's reported separation and to not believe the news going around on social media.
"Mga Chismosang Marites!" Annabelle wrote, featuring a photo of her children and their families at a recent gathering. Sarah was noticeably absent in the picture.
"Tigilan nyo na ang gumawa ng maling kwento. Lahat ng lumabas sa sosyal media is all fake news. 'Wag nyo ng dagdagan ang mga maling balita; malalaman nyo rin ang katotohanan in due time. Baka ma-shock kayo at hindi na ako ang lalabas na kontrabida. Malalaman niyo kung sino ang walang hiya na kontrabida . Mali ang bpntang nyo sa akin."
Annabelle also added that just like netizens, she was equally shocked and clueless when things happened between the pair.
"Nagulat nalang ako biglang dumating ang nanay at tatay galing ibang bansa. Doon na nag umpisa ang malaking gulo."
The celebrity mom also noted that if only she hadn't been forbidden by a lawyer to speak up about the rumored separation, she would have divulged all the details already.
"Mag-enjoy sana ang buong mundo sa sasabihin kung kwento. Gigil na gigil na akong isiwalat ang katotohanan sa pangyayari pero wala akong magawa. Abangan ang susunod na kabanata."
Ending her post, Annabelle emphasized that she of all people is not in favor of Richard and Sarah going their separate ways as she loves her grandchildren very much.
"Basta ako ayaw ko silang mag hiwalay . Dahil mahal ko ang mga apo ko."

Speaking to ABS-CBN reporters on December 7, Annabelle revealed that Richard and Sarah were no longer living together anymore. She also shared that the couple's kids are currently with Richard.
Needless to say, fans were also shocked when Annabelle remarked on the difference between the husband and wife, sparking intrigue that all was not well between Annabelle and her daughter-in-law.
"Nakikita mo naman, hindi mo na kailangang magsalita pa. Nakikita mo na yan. Si Richard trabaho nang trabaho, 'yung isa nagwawaldas ng pera. 'Yun lang ang masasabi ko diyan."
Following her interview, netizens blamed Annabelle as the cause, describing her as a terror mother-in-law.
"Biyenan talaga ang lason sa pagsasama sa karamihan ng mag-asawa," said one netizen on Facebook, while another wrote, "Kung eto ba naman maging biyenan mo, ewan kung tatagal ka ba."
In 2021, Sarah described her mother-in-law as "nakakatakot, masungit, maingay," but also emphasized how caring she is, as Annabelle would often send food to them.
"Magpapadala ng pagkain, minsan magpapadala ng kurtina, yung mga bagay na naaalala niya na kailangan sa bahay. You know, she is sweet in that way."
In 2022, Sarah revealed she doesn't want to call Annabelle "Mommy."
“Si Tita A, baka may magtanong sakin bakit di mom noh. I know she’s my mom, pero Tita Annabelle siya ng bayan.”
Separated or not, it looks like Sarah is all geared up to make a return to acting as she recently shared a glimpse of a new script she's studying.
"Grateful," she wrote in her post.
