Regine Velasquez Praises Anne Curtis' Improvement In Singing
In a recent Magandang Buhay episode that a netizen posted on X (formerly Twitter), Regine praised Anne's improvement when it comes to singing, and even defended her from the netizens who would call her "sintunado."
"Tignan mo si Anne, ‘di ba dati, tawang-tawa lang tayo... kasi bakit tayo natatawa sa kanya? Kasi wala siya sa tono, eh."
"Pero actually ngayon, nasa tono na siya. Gumaling na nga siya, eh, kasi pinagpursigihan niya. And she actually loves it, she likes it," she praised.
Anne reposted the netizen's clip and thanked Regine for ~*believing*~ in her. She also credited Kitchie Molina for her improvement in her singing skills.
"Wait lang madam @reginevalcasid. Naiiyak ako. Thank you so much. Nakahelp din talaga ang voice lessons ko with miss Kitchie Molina. thank you for your kind words."
ICYDK, this isn't the first time that the Asia's Songbird praised Anne's skills. In Anne's 2018 AnneKulit concert at Araneta Coliseum, Regine only had the best things to say about her.
"Let me just tell you, I think you are a pure-blooded entertainer and performer. I just wanna say, you have a connection with your audience. They love you and you inspire them, [and] that’s also a very, very rare quality," she raved.
Regine and Anne have also performed together on stage a couple of times over the years, with their most recent one being their rendition of "Christmas Bonus" by Aegis. Netizens, in particular, praised Anne's performance and noted her improvement.
