Anne Curtis is no stranger to getting comments from netizens about every aspect of her life, may it be her career or her personal life. However, the 38-year-old actress takes them all in stride and isn't afraid of being a good sport and poking fun at herself, too.
Case in point: Anne recently went viral for her recent performance at the ABS-CBN Christmas Special 2023. She sang "Kay Sigla Ng Gabi," and netizens had a *lot* to say regarding her singing.
On X (formerly Twitter), a netizen posted a snippet of her performance with the caption: "that hingang malalim, confident walk, and then singing completely out of tune hahahahahhahaha nag-iisa ka @annecurtissmith!!!"
A good sport as always, Anne quoted the tweet and added, "HAHAHAHAHA! I didn’t have my in-ear kasi. I’m usually much better than this [emoji]. Char."
She continued: "At the end of the day, kailangan may representation sa stage ang mga kaboses ko ok? Mabuhay ang mga may sariling tono." LOL. She does have a point!
Another netizen comented: "gawin nyo tong alarm tone tignan natin kung di ka magising hahahahahaahhaha."
Anne kept the ball rolling and responded with: "Pang simbang gabi alarm realness [emoji] Kuyog at gising buong bahay." Haha!
Anne will be making her comeback to teleseryes after nine (!!!) years with the Filpino remake of the hit South Korean series, It's Okay To Not Be Okay. She will be starring in the lead role of Ko Moon Young (originally played by Seo Ye Ji). We can't wait!
