Let's be honest—watching Ashley Ortega walk out of the iconic yellow house was not on our 2025 Bingo card. After weeks of navigating challenges, showing grace under pressure, and simply being her charming, elegant self on PBB: Celebrity Collab Edition, we were rooting for her to go all the way.
But even though Ashley's PBB journey came to an early end, she walked away with something arguably even more meaningful—a heartfelt message of support from Carmina Villarroel, the mom of her boyfriend, Mavy Legaspi. And yes, it was every bit as sweet and sincere as you'd hoped.

In an interview with Ogie Diaz, Ashley shared that as soon as she got out of the iconic yellow house, she received a message from Carmina. "Nung kakalabas ko lang ng bahay ni Kuya, nag-text agad sa akin si Tita Mina, which I really appreciate. Kinumusta niya ako agad," she reminisced.
"Sabi niya, 'Hi Ash, how are you? Welcome to the outside world. I am so proud of you for being a strong woman. I can't wait to see you soon and take care.'"
ICYDK, Ashley was already close with Carmina even before dating Mavy, as they previously worked together on the 2022 drama crime series, Widows' Web.
Ashley also noted how supportive the Legaspi family was during her stint inside the iconic yellow house, sharing how Carmina, Zoren, and Cassy would watch her. "Na-appreciate ko kasi supportive talaga sila sakin. I hope because of PBB, mas nakilala rin nila ako," she divulged.
Speaking of her relationship with Mavy, Ashley hopes that the 24-year-old actor is "The One" for her, despite only being in a relationship for a few months. "Alam niya na rin naman yun," she shared. Kilig! We are so here for their wholesome budding relationship, you guys.
