The Philippine entertainment industry is abuzz with excitement as Atasha Muhlach, the 21-year-old daughter of renowned showbiz couple Aga Muhlach and Charlene Gonzalez, officially steps into the limelight. Atasha recently signed with Viva Artists Agency, and during the contract signing event, Viva founder Vic del Rosario confidently hailed her as showbiz's "next big star."
This momentous occasion marks the beginning of a promising career for the young celebrity.
Prior to her entry into the industry, Atasha fulfilled a personal promise to herself and her parents by completing her business management degree in the U.K.
“I remember the first time you stepped on the stage at the age of 10 years old when you played the role of Brigitta in The Sound of Music. We knew that entertainment was something you always dreamed of and will be part of you someday,” her mom Charlene said in an Instagram post. “Now that you are finished with your studies, you can now fully chase your dreams.”
When asked about her parents' reaction to her decision, the 21-year-old expressed immense gratitude for their unwavering support. She revealed that her dad Aga has been a pillar of encouragement, offering valuable advice and guidance throughout the process.
“My dad has been nothing but supportive and most caring throughout this whole process, and he’s actually giving me lots of advice [on] what to expect and, of course, to always be kind to others,” she said, also revealing that she is eager to immerse herself in different creative pursuits.
“I wouldn’t want to close my doors to anything, but as of now, I am just taking it one step at a time."
As she takes her initial steps in the spotlight, however, the celebrity daughter is gearing up to release her first project with Viva, which is a much-anticipated single.
