International *star* Bae Doona has worked with the best directors from all over the world, and she honestly shines in all her roles! In a 2021 episode of the show You Quiz On The Block, Doona talked about her passion for her craft, saying: "I can't imagine a life in which I'm not an actor. Acting is all I know how to do. I became an actor before I learned to dream of acting. I was cast on the street and became a model, did magazine shoots, did TV commercials, and then debuted in a movie. But I don't regret being an actor. If I was born again, I'd do the same thing." Talk about dedication!

7. Kingdom (2020)

Where to watch it: Netflix

The plot, according to Netflix: "While strange rumors about their ill king grip a kingdom, the crown prince becomes their only hope against a mysterious plague overtaking the land." She plays a nurse names Seo-Bi who's intent on finding a cure for the zombie outbreak.

In a 2020 interview, Bae Doona talked about her role, saying: "In Season 1, Seo-Bi was just a local nurse. When the first outbreak happened, she struggled and was very confused. However, she goes through immense growth, and during season two she becomes more practical and hands-on in terms of how she can be of help in overcoming the crisis. I personally love stories about growth. And so during Season 1 I think I intentionally played the role in a more simple and naive way so that I can build on the character arc and create the story of her growth."
