Love is totally in the air for Barbie Forteza and her boyfriend Jak Roberto!
This Valentine's Day, Barbie shared an Instagram reel containing some of their sweet couple moments. She captioned, "POV: when your 7th Valentine’s dinner still feels like the first date. I love you so much @jakroberto."

Barbie and Jak were both celebrities already when their love for each other began. Although they weren't paired as a love team, their fans coined them the moniker JakBie.
The two began dating shortly after their first project together as actors. It was in the 2017 GMA teleserye Meant To Be when Barbie and Jak first met.
With an Instagram post dated August 21, 2017, Barbie confirmed her relationship with Jak. She captioned the post, "Monay pandesal sana magtagal." PEP.ph reported that Monay refers to Barbie, while pandesal is a humorous nickname given to Jak for his pandesal-like abs.
Five years later, breakup rumors surrounded the couple's relationship, also fueled by Barbie being paired to David Licauco. Jak appeared to be unbothered by all the controversies and news bits that were seemingly trying to create a rift between him and his GF.
Moreover, he expressed his understanding of their work as celebrities and the tendencies of being paired with other actors. "'Di po ako nagseselos. Mula’t mula. Di po talaga ako seloso eh. Siya po, hindi din. Sabi ko nga kaya nagkataon na parehas kaming artista kasi I think kung parang non-showbiz or 'di related yung magiging karelasyon namin, ang hirap talagang ipaintindi," Jak explained in an interview.
He added, "So for me, sa karanasan ko na yung gf ko artista, ako din as bf nya artista, naintindihan namin yung work namin."

Barbie Forteza on working with David Licauco
Barbie and David both starred in the hit teleserye, Maria Clara at Ibarra—where their chemistry almost stole the show! Viewers can't deny how perfect their onscreen romance was.
For over a year of becoming a love team—called BarDa—Barbie and David assured that their commitment is to spread happiness and *kilig* to their fans by portraying their roles as actors effectively.
Amid their fame, Barbie never forgets to be grateful to David. "One of the reasons I’m thankful for because of BarDa is I gained a friend (in David)," she said in an event in May 2023. It's obvious that the two have maintained a good working relationship.
It's always fun and kilig between the two wherever they are. Even in a recent interview with Boy Abunda, the love team didn't let the moment pass without them being sweet yet funny with each other.
In a segment, Tito Boy asked the two to complete the sentence, "Siguro pinagtagpo tayo dahil..." which David quickly responded with: "Siguro pinagtagpo tayo dahil meant to be tayo." How romantic, right?
But Barbie had an entirely different take on the sentence which made everyone laugh. "Siguro pinagtagpo tayo dahil kailangan natin mag-work," she said. Mic drop.
