Fact: Bea Alonzo is always a class act. The Start-Up PH actress exemplified kindness as she finally broke her silence and responded to the controversy surrounding her and Lolit Solis, who's been posting a series of tirades against her on Instagram, including calling her “feeling super mega star of all season” and even bringing up her past relationship with ex-boyfriend Gerald Anderson.
The flurry of negative comments hurled towards the actress has reportedly stemmed from Bea allegedly *uninviting* Lolit to a presscon, causing the host to take offense.
“Bea Alonzo, ikaw na, talagang ikaw na ang reyna, queen, madam, boss of all time. Bongga ka! Saludo na ako sa powers mo, pero tandaan mo, dalawang beses kang na-ghost ni Gerald Anderson, so meaning, kulang pa rin ang ganda at powers, wala pa ring nagawa nang iwanan ka,” wrote Lolit in one post.
Despite Lolit's remarks, Bea decided to take the high road and gracefully respond when asked how she feels about the host’s comments against her. “I will never reply because hindi ko naman nababasa what she writes about me. People just tell me about it,” she said.
The actress also shared that they haven’t met in real life, but she has no ill feelings against Lolit at all: “I respect her so much, although we’ve never met, we’ve never been introduced or [spoken] to each other.”
Additionally, Bea emphasized that she won’t add fuel to the fire and would simply choose to spread positivity. "I heard she’s sick at lalo na akong hindi sasagot, dadalhin ko pa 'yan parang ang bigat-bigat. Let’s just stay positive. I will sincerely pray for her healing and for her to get well soon,” she said.
