On X, The Showbiz Now PH shares video footage of these two showbiz powerhouses in candid moments. Bea and Julia were part of the high-key guestlist for talent manager Johnny Manahan’s #MrMNightof100Stars party last night, March 16, 2024.
In the video, Julia is seen approaching Bea with open arms. The two *make beso* and when they part, Julia offers Bea an alcohol shot.
The video cuts to a little later when Julia and Bea are laughing. Julia is seen saying something close to Bea's ear which elicits a gleeful reaction. Oh! To be a fly on the wall and hear everything they talked about.
We can only wonder how this interaction materialized. We also wonder if there have been more interactions between the both of them we are unaware of behind closed doors and private occasions.
A Lookback On the Bea-Julia History
It was July 2019 when the Internet almost broke as Bea posted cryptic Instagram Stories that signaled the end between her and Gerald Anderson. The two were together for three years. Eagle-eyed netizens also spotted Bea leaving “Likes” on posts about Julia and Gerald getting flirty at Rayver Cruz’s birthday party.
On the other side of the story, Joshua Garcia admitted that he and Julia were no longer a real-life and reel-time item.
Bea then sat down for an explosive interview on Tonight With Boy Abunda, saying that she and Gerald were not on a break during the alleged cheating scandal that unfolded online. In a separate interview, Gerald said no one else was involved in his break-up with Bea.
In August 2019, Julia took to Instagram to deny all the cheating rumors. She also called out Bea for fueling the fire as she stated, “Bea, you wanted to keep your hands clean by not mentioning me in your controversial post, but with a click of your finger, in your sly way, you have charged everybody to destroy me for you. [...] You can play the victim all you want, but I refuse to be your victim.”
The post has since been deleted and in 2021, Gerald and Julia were more public about their relationship. In 2023, Bea went on an interview stating that she could never be friends with Gerald. Shortly after, she would be engaged to Dominic Roque.
On February 11, 2024, the two confirmed that the engagement had been called off.
For everything that has happened in the past five years, Bea and Julia seem to prove that real women know how to resolve issues.
