Bea Alonzo is making a case for having amicable breakups. According to her, you can go through a breakup and still have respect for the other person—and of course, your relationship that just ended.

In an interview with Nelson Canlas, Bea got candid about a lot of things. For example, she opened up about how her breakup with ex-fiancé, Dominic Roque, happened.

It all began when Nelson mentioned that Bea initiated the end of her relationship with Dominic. Bea directly refuted his statement, saying, "Actually, that's false. That's false. Hindi. Hindi ako 'yung nakipag-break."

TBH, it's the first time that Bea talked about her past relationship with Dominic. Their split was one of the celebrity breakups that shook the internet. Nonetheless, Bea chose not to delve into more details about her former relationship with Dominic. She gracefully begged off from divulging more information about it since she wanted to still preserve the respect she had for him and their relationship. After all, she clarified that it was really an amicable breakup, just like how she initially described it when they made the news official to the public.

"Pero 'wag na nating pag-usapan 'yun. Let's leave it in the past. It's amicable, okay naman kami. I think it would be disrespectful to the relationship and to the other person to talk about it," Bea wholeheartedly expressed.

She added, "It's a very sensitive topic and gusto kong bigyan ng respeto at gusto kong iwan sa magandang paraan what we had."

As much as a lot of their lives are public, celebrities are humans too. This is what Bea underscored in her interview as well.

"'Dun ako pinaka-siguro naapektuhan, kasi maraming nag-spread ng false narrative about my life and when you're going through something really difficult in your life, and you have other people narrating it for you in a different way, very different from the way you see it and very different from the truthsobrang sakit niya," the actress proclaimed.

She further noted that the false narratives added more pain to what she was already feeling as she navigated through her heartbreak. Bea admitted, "Kasi... yes it affects you because it's one thing to go through something silently, like a very, very, huge heartbreak. But it's another thing to be going through it in front of the public nang iba 'yung narrative."
