After the untimely passing of actor Mico Palanca, his former girlfriend and co-star Bea Alonzo shared a prayer on Instagram about mourning. Accompanied by a photo of glass-enclosed candles, Bea wrote, "I just want to keep still and quiet for a moment and let the universe unfold its mystery. My prayers go out to the ones grieving and going through tough times. Love and light. 'Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.' Matthew 5:4."
Bea and Mico were reportedly in a relationship for four years and broke up in 2008. In an interview with YES! magazine in July 2013, Bea shared: "Hindi talaga kami magkaintindihan. He was so much older than I was, so iba yung priorities niya. Iba siya magtrato. Ayoko naman kasing magsalita nang masama tungkol sa kanya, but it wasn't a good relationship."
Mico starred on TV shows Tabing Ilog and It Might Be You, and passed away earlier this week at 41 years old.
