Bea Borres is done reading inquiries and speculations about her wealth, a.k.a her financial status as a 21-year-old content creator. Bea and her siblings are now without parents, leading netizens to speculate how she can maintain her lifestyle.
Bea addressed the speculations in a recent TikTok video. She replied to a comment that asked, "Bakit mayaman si Bea? Kahit wala na siyang magulang? May mana ba [siya]?"
Bea seemed perplexed by how people were curious about her financial status. She said, "you know what, I'm curious. Kasi I've been getting a lot of comments na ganito. I just don't get it."
"Isn't it like normal na mapag-iwanan ng mga mana? Kasi ever since bata kami, parang sinasabi na ng dad ko na, 'we got this for you,'" Bea explained. She also mentioned and compared that her brother's trust fund is way bigger than hers.
"'Yan si Jacob? Madaming trust fund 'yan. Mas marami pa 'yang condos kay sa sa'kin," she said. Continuing her video, Bea was confused about why their wealth interests people.
"I'm surprised because you all think na wala na akong parents, wala na akong [pera]," she proclaimed before turning to someone and asked, "Hindi ba common 'yun sa Philippines? Na mapag-iwanan ng mga mana? Hindi ba? I don't know."

Bea's statement about inheritance drew mixed reactions from netizens."Totoo pala talaga 'yung sabi na karamihan sa rich kids hindi talaga aware sa mga societal issues at napaka-out of touch sa reality. Though it's not their fault that they are raised that way," the comment read.
Bea explained her side after being accused of being "out of touch." While on the topic, Bea briefly touched on rumors that she has a "sugar daddy" to support her financially. She argued, "It's so funny cuz y'all issue me about having a sugar daddy pero ngayon na I spoke up and asked about something, out of touch ako... weird."
Some netizens explained to Bea that most Filipinos don't usually receive an inheritance when their parents pass away.
One netizen strongly commented, "Oo Bea!! Hindi common sa PH mapag-iwanan ng mana. Ang normal [ay] mapag-iwanan ng utang."
And then there was another comment that read, "Ang common sa PH, 'yung anak ang trust fund, retirement fund, wallet, etc *insert crying emoji*"
Some viewers pointed out that it was odd that people seemed angry at Bea that her late parents secured her financial stability. "Ang daming galit sa comsec. Her parents kasi ni-make sure na secured ang future ng mga anak nila." ICYDK, Bea's parents were reportedly public servants. Her father was a former Quezon City councilor.
Bea, who now lives with her grandparents, is a college student at the Ateneo de Manila University. As a content creator, she shares snippets of her life with her Lolo and Lola on social media. Bea is also a close friend of Andrea Brillantes.
