Bea Alonzo and Dominic Roque's alleged breakup is currently the talk of the town, with Boy Abunda first breaking the news on his talk show, Fast Talk With Boy Abunda, on February 6, 2024.
"I was shocked. I was overwhelmed with emotions. [...] Isa pang balita na talagang nakalungkot, sumindak sa akin, ay ang balitang naghiwalay na si Bea at Dominic," Tito Boy reported.
"Ako’y nalungkot ho talaga dahil madalas, ‘pag nagkikita kami ni Bea ay nagkakakwentuhan ho kami tungkol sa buhay, tungkol sa kanila, their marriage plans, etcetera. So, I was shocked," Tito Boy added.

Netizens were also shocked at the apparent revelation, especially since Dominic proposed to Bea last July 2023. Bea recently revealed, however, that she and Dominic have not yet planned their wedding.

Since the news broke of Bea and Dominic's breakup, netizens have been taking sides in support of either person. One netizen posted screenshots of entertainment journalist G3 San Diego's past Instagram Stories where she answered questions about Bea and Dom's relationship and wrote, "Dapat kasi nakinig ka kay G3, Bea Alonzo."
A netizen replied to the tweet, saying that people "think highly" of Bea because she owns some land. "Regardless of how rich you are, if meron something sa character mo, hindi ka pa rin pakakasalan ng lalaking mas mayaman sayo," they wrote.
Bea and Dominic have been in a relationship since July 2021 and got engaged two years later. After rumors spread of their alleged breakup, it was announced by Boy Abunda that the wedding had been called off.
