Bela Padilla isn't here for the fake news. The popular actress took to social media to shut down rumors about her so-called marriage, urging her followers to report the account spreading the misinformation.
It all started when a YouTube channel posted a video with a clickbait thumbnail from one of Padilla’s teleserye scenes, tricking people into thinking she got hitched. The video went around, and suddenly, the actress was bombarded with congratulatory messages.
"Can we all please report this account that keeps spreading fake news? That clickbait photo is from a teleserye scene," Padilla posted. "Not married. Stop congratulating me, guys."

She didn't hold back on her annoyance, adding, "Nothing to ruin your day like getting congratulatory messages from your people you know cause a Youtube account keeps posting click bait videos that you got married," she said in an IG story posted on June 16, 2024.
"Save the congratulations for another day," she added.

Bela Padilla's boyfriend
Bela is in a steady relationship with Swiss national Norman Bay. Though they are in a long-distance relationship, they definitely make it work.
"I think I’m definitely more understanding now that I’m in an LDR," Bela said in a podcast episode in 2021. The actress added that distance has perks too.

"Every time we see each other again, it's like the first time. Nahihiya ako, may initial kilig and awkwardness dahil ang tagal niyo hindi nagkita. I always look forward to those moments."
Padilla has also been vocal about her career goals and upcoming projects, making it clear that any big personal news will come straight from her, no clickbait needed.
