Bianca Manalo has spoken up about the alleged texting scandal with her former co-star Rob Gomez. The beauty queen actress was embroiled in what seems to be reportedly *leaked* screenshots of their private conversation.
Bianca issued a short yet direct statement in response to the controversy which she described as something malicious and hurtful.
"Let me clear all the false rumors circulating on the internet," she began in her statement posted Friday, December 22, 2023.
She defended her name by saying that the leaked conversation was all about receiving her early Christmas gifts from Rob. "Rob Gomez and I are friends and co-workers. He was going to bring Christmas gifts and I wanted to receive them early before I leave [sic] for the airport," she explained.
In the screenshots, Bianca presumably asked Rob if he could pass by her house in Makati City at around 7:00 a.m. because she needed to leave at 10:00 a.m. The first screenshot read, "Kaya mo pumunta that early? 7am [sic]? Brought my dogs here sa Makati. Let me know para I can go back to BGC early to see you before I leave 10am [sic]."
It was later followed with a message saying, "He's not here. He's in valenzuela [sic]." Netizens assumed Bianca was referring to her longtime boyfriend Senator Sherwin Gatchalian. The conversation supposedly did not end there as another message of hers through a different social media app was also uploaded.

Bianca allegedly said, "You didn't reply on telegram. Meron ka na namang na pick up na ibang girl noh *insert shy emoji*"
Bianca argued in her statement that posting the said conversations was a breach of privacy and that parts of it were deleted to create "malicious insinuations."
"It is upsetting that our conversations were exposed without my consent, which is a breach of privacy and the cause of so much online bashing. It is obvious that parts of our conversation were deleted to create malicious insinuations," Bianca continued in her IG post.
She called on everyone to put the controversy to rest and to focus on spreading love and truth this holiday season. Bianca is currently in Japan for some family time. "To be honest, this unfounded accusation is hurting me and my loved ones. Let this controversy end so I can enjoy the rest of my time in Japan with my family. Let us spread love and the truth this holiday season. Merry Christmas, everyone," the beauty queen-actress declared.
The alleged screenshots that showed the private conversations of Rob with former co-stars including Bianca, and Herlene Budol were exposed on December 20, 2023.
In one of the screenshots, Herlene and Rob were reportedly talking about the actress taking a pregnancy test after their supposed private moments together. But Herlene was quick to shut down pregnancy speculations in a tweet.
Herlene aggressively commented on the speculations. "Showbiz nga talaga! Pag dedicated ka sa trabaho. gagawan ka ng issue! Dati asa #wowowin gumawa ng issue na buntis daw ako. Ngayon naman sa #MagandangDilag may issue uli na buntis ako uli? Ano susunod? Sa #BlackRider mabubuntis ako uli?" she wrote on X (formerly Twitter.)
On the other hand, Rob strongly argued that his phone is still *not* in his possession since the day that the screenshots were leaked.
Rob, Herlene, and Bianca were former co-stars in their GMA teleserye Magandang Dilag.
