You guys, BIGBANG's Taeyang and his wife, South Korean actress Min Hyo Rin, are now officially parents!
BIGBANG's agency, YG Entertainment, recently shared the big news.
"Taeyang’s wife, Min Hyo-rin, recently gave birth to a healthy son," the statement read.
Word first came out in September 2021 on South Korean news site Hankook Ilbo that the celebrity couple was expecting a baby. Following the news, Hyo Rin's agency PLUM A&C confirmed the news.
"It is true that Min Hyo Rin is expecting," PLUM A&C wrote. "She is waiting joyfully. As she hopes to give birth quietly, we ask for your understanding in not being able to respond to further questions."
Taeyang and Hyo Rin first met while filming Taeyang's "1AM" music video, which was released in 2013. The two got engaged in 2017 and got married in 2018.
"I have pledged to spend the rest of my life with Min Hyo Rin, the one who has always stuck by me for the past four years," Taeyang wrote in a 2017 IG post. "Through all the good times and the bad times, she has always believed in me and now I look forward to making a beautiful life together."
